3RD ANNUAL PEACE DAY (In memory of David Idowu)

We would like to invite you all to rememeber her son David Idowu at the 3rd Annual Peace Day. This will be a day of fun, in memory of David and all the young people who have died through violent crime.The day – on Saturday 9th July at Tabard Gardens Park (SE1 near Borough Tube Station) starts at 10am with a Football tournament and includes music, singers, poets, dancers and more right through to 6pm.
At 12pm we will also have a special dedication of the David Idowu Memorial Bench
The best bit is that it is FREE!!!

The Spirit of London Awards enters its third year following the huge success achieved in the last two years, full archive details for which are found here on the site.
The awards celebrate young people from various walks of life whose common bond is that they are sons or daughters of the greatest city on the planet. Whether London born or adopted Londoners the Spirit of London Awards will continue to go to young people who are a credit to the local communities whose culture and heritage are the cities lifeblood.
